Goan Tizaan [ Ragi / Nachani pudding ]
4 tbsp ragi flour
1 cup water
1 1/2 cup coconut milk / or plain milk if you don’t have coconut milk
4-5 tbsp chopped palm jaggery / or sugarcane jaggery whichever you prefer
1/4 tsp cardamom powder
Pinch of salt
Method
Mix the ragi flour with water and keep it aside for 5 minutes . Stir the mixture and add the coconut milk , palm jaggery, cardamom powder and a pinch of salt. Stir well . Now on a very low flame with continuous stirring, allow the mixture to thicken. Once it is semi thick, switch off the gas . The pudding will thicken further on cooling. Tizaan is ready. Tizaan can be had hot or cold . Enjoy
