Here is a detailed tutorial for cotton slime which has surged in popularity this summer! This is the only "no glue no borax" recipe I've seen that isn't actually fake. The result is obviously not a true slime but it comes very close. The key is to use polyester stuffing (not cotton wool) and make sure not to add too much water and soap. I like the fact this DIY is fully reusable so you can let the stuffing dry out and remake it as often as you like.
