Queen sago, is a species of cycad known in the wild only from southern India. Cycas circinalis is the only gymnosperm species found among native Sri Lankan flora. The plant is widely cultivated in Hawaii, both for its appearance in landscape and interiors, and for cut foliage.In the Philippines, it is locally known as patubo, pitogo or bitogo.
This dish is made with dried and powdered queen sago...It is highly nutritious....Especially for diabetic patients....The speciality of dried and powdered queen sago is that it can be preserved for years....and the more the matured the powder is,the more nutritious it becomes....
This is a dish traditionally made in my locality in Kerala,South India....Might be new to a lot of you...so do try it out...👍
