Take an immediate right, keeping watch over the rocky ledge to the left. Amongst the weeds lies an object prompting Bullet's interaction. Commanding Bullet to fetch reveals a new tape titled "The Friendly Chat," capturing a cryptic conversation between the Sheriff and an enigmatic figure.

Upon reviewing the tape, continue on the path until reaching the far side of the pond. Two prominent rocks outline a path forward, leading to an unusual white tree. Discovery of this tree triggers another tense walkie-talkie exchange, hinting at deeper mysteries.

Options open up after the conversation ends. A path to the right leads to a broken-down car and a lit trench area, hosting a staircase to a locked bunker. Entering the trench area initiates another walkie-talkie conversation. Exiting the conversation prompts Bullet to deliver a Red Tape titled "The Breadcrumb Trail," revealing a scene with a fallen tree and Peter dropping a baseball. Pausing the tape aligns with the moment Peter releases the ball, making it materialize in the trench upon exiting the camcorder view.

After another brief walkie-talkie exchange, instruct Bullet to scent the ball and follow him as he dashes off. Here, players encounter the first forest monster, susceptible to the flashlight's light.
