ARMANDO - THE VOICE OF ROMANCE "SENTADO A LA VERA DEL CAMINO"

Описание: This is a duet with Sandy Valdivia, one of the busiest Latina vocalists in Los Angeles. If you read Armando's interview with publicist Donna Lee on face book, you might remember that Armando has some goals to accomplish. One of those goals is to record a duet in Spanish with a Latina singer for that audience. Armando was looking for a certain vocal sound for this particular song. After listening to 3 singers who are in their own right great singers, they didn't have the inflection that Armando was looking for. In the business, the term is used "Voice Blending" which basically means that certain singers sound better together than others in a duet. Not all singers blend well with one another. It takes a certain intonation, inflection and vocal sound to get the nice pleasant blend. After speaking to a musician friend about the matter, his friend gave Armando Sandy's contact. After speaking to her on the phone he had a good feeling about this gal and after he heard her there was no doubt that she would be the one for the duet. They went into the studio in September, recorded the song and video taped the session. You will hear more of Sandy and Armando together in future recordings. The song is called "Sentado A La Vera Del Camino", meaning sitting on the side of the road. This song will make you melt as it is so beautifully done. Armando and Joaquin arranged it. Enjoy!
