Thursday Devotion - “Letters Worth Reading” (LHM)

Описание: God is Almighty and powerful, above all things and terrifyingly holy. It is so easy to be in fear of Him and think that we need to appease His wrath and anger caused by our lives and actions. However, He reveals Himself in a much different way. He speaks to us through His spokespersons (prophets and priests) and gives us a love letter to see His heart and know that He loves us intimately and personally. Over and over again, He reminds us that no matter what we are going through each day, He is with us and He loves us more than we could ever imagine. He loves you so much that He came into this world to be one of us. To suffer for all of the sins and wrongs and unfaithfulness we commit, and to reassure us that nothing can separate us from His love. Jesus displayed and lived that love of God for us, and the Holy Scriptures are God's love letter to us. The more often we read them and cherish them, we will be reminded and encouraged of God's love and His promises to us, His beloved.
