Massive Shed Tidy, preparing for Autumn Sowings and enjoying the Sunshine! || Plot 37 (Episode 74)

Описание: We are seriously starting to think about where things are going to be grown over winter with crops split between the poly-house, the covered bed and the greenhouse. Not to mention the plants that will just brave the weather unprotected. So we choose the bed that will be covered and clear the leeks, spring onions and celery seed out of it. Leaving only the courgettes to carry on until they finish for the year.

Mulching the bed in preparation for planting out the plugs later this month and into next.

It was a birthday present last year from my dad and it's been fantastic. At first i didn't really know what to use it for but for herbs (like i'm doing today) or fruit or Chillies... so many things. even mushrooms!

I am raising the hight of the bird protection on the Nine Star Broccoli . I am using the soft butterfly netting on all my brassicas this year because its strong, lasts forever and its really malleable so easy to use:

Its not a cheap option but we have had ours for 15+ years and it's as good as the day we got it. Less shiny, but still doing its job! We got ours from a closing down factory but this one on amazon is the exact same spec. We use this grade to go over the beds and to build the chicken house with:

And then a job i'm been meaning to get done for such a long time: The Shed gets a Tidy! This is also a late summer job for me because during the winter this shed becomes a shelter again rather than just a storage unit and so its nice to be able to fit in it!

So satisfying to see the before and after!
