Hantangang River Geopark Trail is a 8.9 kilometer loop trail located near Cheorwon-gun, Gangwon-do, South Korea that features a waterfall and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, and nature trips.
Hantangang River Geopark (한탄강 국가지질공원) is the fourth UNESCO Global Geopark in South Korea. It is also the first park that centers a river (Hantan). Hantan River was created by a volcanic eruption. At this geopark, you will see the creations (basalt cliffs, waterfalls, etc) caused by the remnants of volcano lava.
