World First Saveless Run of Okuplok in

It had to be done. That which once seemed impossible is now accomplished. This is the world's first non-TAS single-segment MAX run of Okuplok on the I'm Too Young To Die difficulty setting. Even though most of the tricks and strategies used here are feasible on Ultra-Violence, some of the later fights are a pure RNG grind, especially the Crossfire Arena with Hell Knights and caged Cyberdemons. Losing multiple 5-hour-long UV runs over and over again that late into the map would drive me insane. Especially considering that surviving up to that point is no easy task either. Even though ITYTD means half-damage taken, I consider an Ultra-Violence run of this map to be 8 times more difficult than this run.

I first started experimenting with this map offline in January 2023, after I was done with my previous challenge (Sunlust map 30 UV Fast). Then, I started working on the strategy analysis video series in Ultra-Violence difficulty, and simultaneously started attempts on ITYTD, once I realized that the line-skip for the Revenant Snake was possible to achieve with a consistent setup. This run was the result.
