York Bridge Concepts™ (YBC™) proudly partnered with the developers of Parkview on Peachtree, a thriving mixed-use development in Chamblee, GA, to design and build a double-lane timber vehicular bridge with an integrated pedestrian walkway. This custom bridge enhances connectivity across the development while paying tribute to the city’s industrial roots.

YBC’s Decero™ Design Team engineered the bridge with a 32-foot free-span section, an exposed steel truss system, and visible structural joints—all selected to emulate the look and feel of historic railway infrastructure that shaped Chamblee’s identity. The bridge’s rich dark brown tone complements the surrounding urban-style architecture, making it a seamless and iconic feature within the community.

Constructed using deck-level (top-down) methods, the bridge was installed with minimal environmental impact and maximum visual appeal, combining function and aesthetics in a walkable, livable neighborhood setting.
