This is a 1938 Packard Super Eight, with a 320 cu in straight eight outputing 120 hp. This particular car was restored years ago by a gentleman in Texas, who built it for touring. As part of that restoration he converted the car to 12V, added a full A/C system, and an overdrive. Much of the car remains original apart from those mods.
The interior is not original material. It was reupholstered in genuine leather dyed green, to match the green pinstriping and wheels on the exterior of the car.
The car is currently undergoing troubleshooting for running issues, following a very extended time rebuilding the engine. The original block failed, and over the course of years the engine was finally rebuilt and finished. After sitting for so long there are many issues to address and fix. Currently the car runs and drives, but is not ready for touring.
