This method is a good method to use for candy stripe or diamond pattern friendship bracelets.
Although not really suited for absolute beginners, this is a longer form video with closer clips and slow motion demonstration at one point to show the knots used to create the tapering, so it might be okay for confident beginners.
But for absolute beginners I strongly recommend practicing the basics of friendship bracelet knotting and macrame knotting before attempting this taper method, to avoid frustration/disappointment.
