Here we have a LaserDisc transfer made with LD-Decode of an early episode of NOVA, “Signs of the Apes, Songs of the Whales,” as broadcast by PBS in 1983. This episode explores early efforts and research into communicating with chimpanzees and whales through sign language and other means.
I am personally quite fond of these early documentaries, and while a copy of this episode was already available online in the form of a VHS capture, the increased resolution and superior image and sound quality offered by LaserDisc should make this a worthwhile upgrade. This capture was made via RF capture and decoded using LD-Decode.
