In this divine city — the New Jerusalem — there will be no more sorrow, no more death, and no more pain (Revelation 21:4). It’s a place of perfect peace, where the presence of God is the light (Revelation 21:23), and where the redeemed will dwell in eternal joy with their Savior.

What hope we have in knowing that “our citizenship is in heaven” (Philippians 3:20), and that Jesus Himself is preparing a mansion with our name on it. As the hymn says, “There’s a mansion prepared over there — yes, a place in that city for me.” Let that truth strengthen your faith and fill your heart with anticipation.

One day, we will join the throng of the redeemed — the jewels of Jesus — shining in His glory, singing songs of deliverance in that beautiful city of God (Isaiah 35:10, Revelation 7:9-10).
