Donald Trump's made history, this time for being the first former US president to have a mugshot taken after handing himself in to a jail in Georgia. Yep, this historic mugshot of Donald Trump dropped this morning. After the former president was arrested in Georgia over charges he's facing to do with alleged interference in the state's 2020 US election results. There were plenty of protesters and supporters outside the jail to greet him. After around 20 minutes. Mr Trump was booked with 13 charges. And released on a $312,000 bail. Donald Trump isn't the only one who's been charged. 18 other people on his team have also been accused of trying to stop Joe Biden from becoming president. So what now? Well prosecutes are trying set a trial date as soon as possible, because if Trump is re-elected as president next year, it's likely the case would go away.

INTERGENERATIONAL REPORT
Yesterday the government released its Intergenerational Report, which is basically a snapshot of what it thinks the country will look like in the future. It reckons our population will grow to 40.5 million which is almost 14 million more than our current population. And things like an ageing population, introducing new technology and climate change are set to cost us a lot of money.  

KAIUS REUNION
Now, it's time to meet Kaius the gorilla from Mogo Wildlife Park in New South Wales! Who's just had a pretty exciting week. This is a moment that's been 11 months in the making! While these two might look like normal gorillas doing normal gorilla things it's actually been a long journey to get here! Kaius here was born at Mogo Wildlife Park in New South Wales but things haven't been easy for him. Not long after he was born his mum needed to go in for emergency surgery and poor Kaius also got really sick just hours later. So with mum out of action the park's wildlife director, Chad, stepped in to help! What followed was a long journey of recovery and parenting, with lots of bottle-feeding, nappy changes and cuddles! Once Kaius's mum was better...the zoo noticed she wasn't really showing much interest in him so the thought it was best to intoduce him to a new carer, Aunty G-anne! The pair have been getting to know each other through their neighbouring cages over the past few months. And this week they finally got to make contact. So while Chad's parenting duties are over for now, Kaius looks right at home with Aunty G-Anne until he can take on the world all by himself!

LONDON ZOO WEIGH-IN
First up to London Zoo's annual weigh-in! It's that time of the year when animals are tricked into standing on scales often using treats as bait to find out how heavy they are. It's all to make sure they're keeping healthy. Almost every one of the zoo's 14,000 animals has to be weighed. So it's a big job.

FINIS LINE PROPOSAL
Now to the finish line of a 35 kay walk. Where one question could not wait to get an answer, down on one knee, shocked expressions. You can probably guess it's a wedding proposal! At the World Championships in Hungary's capital, Budapest. And it looks like she said yes.

BIONIC ARM
And finally to the lucky recipient of a new kind of 3d printed bionic arm! In Germany, these bionics are hot off the press being touted as more affordable, and more capable at doing intricate tasks like unscrewing lids on bottles.
