Hello mama bears,
Welcome back to Yoga with Yana! Today's class is a 20 min PRENATAL Yoga class for Anxiety and Stress relief. Stress and Anxiety might be a common thing that many women during pregnancy experience. For this reason, I designed this gentle yoga class with several breathing exercises that can help manage and hopefully reduce anxiety, and help you feel grounded and calmer.
I invite you to focus on your breath throughout the practice, and be conscious of it. Breathing is essential when it comes to reducing stress and anxiety. Being conscious of our breathing helps us to soothe the nervous system and feel more grounded. If at any time, you feel the need to take a break, please listen to your body and rest. Modify any poses as needed, and feel free to use any props that might make your practice more comfortable. Give yourself permission to relax and be present during this practice. Try to consciously put aside any worries, fears or doubts, and welcome the amazing benefits yoga has to offer! When you take care of yourself, you are simultaneously taking care of your little one - and what bigger joy than that?
