Highlights: On-the-spot trombone arrangements with surprise guest John Allred (tbn., NYC, NY) teaming with Russ Phillips (tbn., Chicago, IL); an extended bass solo by lefty-virtuoso Jennifer Leitham (b., Los Angeles, CA); solos by Eddie Higgins (p., Cape Cod, MA), Allan Vache (cl., Orlando, FL), Davy Jones (tpt., Orlando, FL), and Vince Bartels (dr., Sacramento). Vince Bartels' Migrant Jazz Workers, made up of all-stars from around the U.S., performed at the 2007 Sacramento Jazz Jubilee in the Swing Dance Emporium. Vince Bartels (ldr/dr), Eddie Higgins (p), Allan Vache (cl), Russ Phillips (tbn), Davy Jones (tpt), Jennifer Leitham (b), with guests Rebecca Kilgore (voc, Portland, OR), and last-minute sit-in guest John Allred (tbn, New York, NY). Camera came in late to this giant room with bad acoustics -- sorry! The Sac. Jazz Jubilee takes place annually during Memorial Day Weekend. Renamed Sac. Music Festival in 2012.
