A cold wave has gripped parts of India, with fresh snowfall in Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu and Kashmir. The Dal Lake in Srinagar has frozen, with temperatures dropping to minus 6 degrees Celsius. IMD has issued snowfall alerts for hilly areas. Thousands of tourists were stuck at Atal Tunnel for 12 hours due to a traffic jam. The India Meteorological Department has warned of continued cold conditions.
