Super Fine HD footage of Omni Air Boeing 757-200ER landing on runway 06 at Shannon Airport, Ireland on April 1st 2012.
This 757 (Registration : N639AX) is just over 23 years old and first flew on 13/02/1989. Omni AIr are the latest in a long line of operators of this aircraft which also includes Monarch Airlines, American Trans Air, Air Berlin and Orient Thai Airlines.
It is powered by 2 Rolls Royce RB211 engines.
Omni Air operates a number of flights in and out of Shannon Airport each day, transporting American military personnel to and from the USA to their current military deployments in the Middle East. The destination of this particular flights is unknown.
Air traffic control control communications between the tower and the aircraft can be heard on the video after touchdown.
