Great Divide Basin | Oil & Gas Country | Lamont to Wamsutter, Wyoming

Описание: This is driving day 6 of the summer 2023 trip to Eastern Nebraska and this video was filmed the first week of August showing the return trip back to Washington. So many oil and gas wells here, from what I can see it is one of the major producing areas in the state. Part of the CDT is along the Mineral Exploration Road, I saw 2 hikers making their way west and north. This video shows the drive south on Highway 220 and then west on Mineral Exploration Road before finally heading south again on Wamsutter Crocks Gap Road. I for sure need to revisit this area, roads all over the place I want to see! These videos are made in real time and not sped up or edited in any way, what I see is what you get.
