Manzo covered 7.4 miles on Day 2, trekking through slushy trails and an unexpectedly sunny afternoon before preparing for his first below-freezing night at Hawk Mountain Shelter.
On Day 3, Manzo pushed through a cold stretch from Hawk Mountain to Gooch Gap, ending the day with a warm recharge at Above the Clouds Hostel.
