Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has launched major road safety initiatives during National Road Safety Month to make the state accident-free. Road safety is now part of good governance with the implementation of the six ‘E’ strategy - Education, Enforcement, Engineering, Emergency care, Environment and Evaluation. Projects include traffic modernization, elevated corridor development, safety alert systems in Kalinga Ghati, new electric buses, charging stations and modern bus terminals, ensuring safer, smarter and sustainable transportation across Odisha.
