Emergence is the presence in a system of special properties that are not inherent in its individual components and blocks. The irreducibility of the properties of a system to the sum of the properties of its components. I took my usual melodic pianos, mixed with some ambient synths and pulsation, spiced it up with vocalizations and added some street noises from Berlin city life.
In philosophy, systems theory, science, and art, emergence occurs when an entity is observed to have properties its parts do not have on their own, properties or behaviors which emerge only when the parts interact in a wider whole. All the facets of my music mixed together are creating very special atmosphere and fusion of sounds.
