Prophet vs. Psychopath: The Secret Life of Warren Jeffs

Описание: For nearly a hundred years, a secretive society operated right in the heart of the American Southwest, hidden away from the modern world and governed by a dark theocracy. This community was built on total obedience to a single man who claimed to speak directly for God. While the outside world saw a quiet religious group, the reality inside the walls of Colorado City was far more disturbing. It was a world of arranged marriages, forced labor, and a leader who used his absolute power to control every cent and every soul under his thumb.

Warren Jeffs did not just inherit a religion; he transformed it into a criminal empire. By seizing control of millions of dollars in property and exploiting government welfare systems, he built a kingdom where children were used as unpaid laborers and women were treated as property. Those who dared to question his authority faced immediate excommunication, losing their homes, their spouses, and their children in an instant. This documentary provides an in-depth look at the survivors who risked their lives to escape his grip and the investigators who worked to bring one of the most depraved minds in criminal history to justice.
