The GAA president, Jarlath Burns, was guest of honour at Chadwicks Wexford Park on Sunday, October 13, for the official opening of the refurbished stadium.
Following on from the provision of floodlights, a major pitch irrigation project, and the installation earlier this year of new purple and gold seating in the main stand, the past 14 weeks has seen intense work on other aspects of the ground.
This includes the provision of four new dressing-rooms, a complete realignment of the office space, improved facilities for the media and wheelchair users, and a new Ard Chomhairle entrance.
