In this video, I'll show you how to catch pressured carp, using a bait boat.
Stealth was the key to success during this carp fishing session at Donaldson Dam Bottom Lake. The carp were constantly moving around the boarder of the swim, and any disturbance would push them straight out of the area. To stand a chance of catching, I had to fish as quietly as possible using a bait boat to place my rigs with precision.
In this session I focused on a low disturbance approach, carefully positioning my bait and keeping everything as natural as possible. The conditions were though, the fish were pressured, and every bite had to be earned.
If you fish Donaldson Dam or any other pressured water, stealth tactics like this can make a huge difference.
This session proves that sometimes the difference between blanking and catching is simply staying quiet and fishing smart.
