To mark International Overdose Awareness Day 2025, Penington Institute released the latest edition of Australia’s Annual Overdose Report in this public webinar.
We were honoured to be joined by Dr Hester Wilson, Chair of the RACGP Addiction Special Interest Group, who spoke about the crucial role of GPs in preventing and responding to overdose in the community.
Dr Jake Dizard, Director of Research at Penington Institute presented the report’s key findings, followed by a Q&A discussion on what these mean for health practice, policy, and communities.
