In this video I will remove the old 6V battery cables and replace them with new cables. I will show the cable lengths needed and the routing of the cables under the vehicle. I was surprised at how frayed and poor the connections were on my old cables. If your cables are old, they are worth a closer look to ensure they are still carrying the charge required to run the MGC electrics and start the car properly. Here are the parts that I used:
8' 1 Gauge Cable: http://a.co/i5YzRvC

Battery Terminals x4: http://a.co/cRIc00h
If you use the same parts as the ones I chose you will need to widen the 5/16 terminal ends on the 1' and 2' cables to fit the battery terminal bolts.
