Animated flyover of the #HermitsPeakFire and #CalfCanyonFire showing the progression of the fires from April 6-May 19. The firefighters have seen "historic" winds pushing the growth of the fire and triggering evacuation orders and warnings in four #NewMexico Counties
As of of the morning of May 20, the fire is 303,341 acres and 40% contained. The animation has a view from the southern end of the fire looking north.
