This recording was taken from an online networking session of the Self Management Network Scotland in February 2024. Feeling Good App is an NHS accredited, evidence based app to help people cope with stress, worry, depression and improve sleep. Here, Dr Sheila Ross, a psychotherapist and the app's co-founder and managing director, describes the Feeling Good App's positive mental training programme and how it can support self management in a range of contexts.
The Self Management Network Scotland is facilitated by the Self Management Programme at the ALLIANCE. The network brings together over 900 third sector staff, healthcare professionals and individuals working to change the delivery of health and social care. It aims to share self management learning and best practice and connect efforts to improve self management support in Scotland.
