Almost 26 days after launching his election campaign from Husnabad in Siddipet district, caretaker Chief Minister and TRS president K. Chandrasekhar Rao is all set to resume addressing public meetings with one such rally in Nizamabad on Tuesday.
After the Prajala Ashirvaada Sabha in Husnabad, which is considered a sentimental place for Mr. Rao, the TRS supremo will address a public meeting in Nizamabad town. The erstwhile Nizamabad district had returned all the nine TRS candidates in the 2014 elections and finds a special place for KCR in the rise of the party since 2000.All arrangements are in place for the public meeting with Nizamabad MP K. Kavitha and Agriculture Minister P. Srinivas Reddy personally monitoring the mobilisation.KCR Inspiring speech on Party leaders are hopeful that Mr. Rao will launch a no holds barred attack on the opposition parties and their bid to stitch up an alliance. Leaders conceded that Mr. Rao’s speech at both the Pragati Nivedana Sabha at Kongara Kalan and Husnabad rally, soon after dissolution of the Assembly, was lacklustre. They feel that the Nizamabad meeting with give the much needed boost to the party leaders and cadres.Nizamabad rally is part of the 100 public meetings, Mr. Rao has promised to address in 50 days. On October 4 he will address a meeting in Nalgonda and the next day will speak at a rally in Mahabubnagar. The party has also announced meetings at Warangal (October 7) and Khammam (October 8).Sources said the party is likely to go slow on the proposed public meetings as there is no clarity on the poll notification.It is understood that the party is in two minds whether it should go ahead with the Warangal and Khammam meetings.It is believed that the internal bickerings in Warangal is also a cause of concern for the leadership. Open infighting in Station Ghanpur and trouble in Mulugu, Warangal East and Mahabubabad saw the leaders thinking of putting off the meeting.
