The Brazilian Brothers sat down with Baby Shark, a well-known Brazilian Big Air rider, to talk about his first impressions of the 2026 North Orbit kite during a windy session in Prea. The atmosphere was electric, with 30 knots of wind and waves lining up, and Baby Shark was stoked to test the kite—especially since the new purple colorway matched perfectly with his board. Before hitting the water, he highlighted one of the kite’s standout features: its three adjustable settings. Riders can switch between faster/less power, a medium balanced mode, and a slower/more powerful setup depending on conditions. Baby Shark explained he was riding the medium setting to deal with gusty winds but appreciated having the flexibility to adapt the kite to different sessions.

After riding, he came back thrilled with the kite’s performance. He noted that the new shape improved lift and hangtime, making it feel different—even in lighter wind conditions. To him, the Orbit felt like a perfect blend of the standard Orbit and the Orbit Pro, giving freeriders a solid all-around option while still delivering high performance for Big Air tricks. He emphasized that while this kite is excellent for progression and strong performance riding, those chasing ultra-technical tricks like triple loops might want to look ahead to the upcoming Ultra model. Baby Shark teased the new Ultra without revealing too much but hinted that it features an entirely new shape and a next-generation material that will be a “game changer.”

The Brazilian Brothers closed by thanking Baby Shark for sharing his stoke and demonstrating the kite in action. They praised him not only as a legend in the sport but also as one of the nicest guys to ride with. The session left everyone buzzing with excitement about the Orbit’s new direction and the anticipation of the soon-to-be-released Ultra!
