Shooting the Cal Ordnance Mercenary Sheridan Based Pump Paintball Gun

Описание: Three Cal Ordance Mercenary pump paintball markers were featured besides a Sheridan pump PGP in the October 1989 issue of Action Pursuit Games. The write up was headlined with "A Sheridan / PMI Component Conversion Kit," since essentially this kit was a beautifully designed aluminum body kit for the Sheridan platform.
And while this kit certainly looked amazing, and in the few times I've fired Mercenary Pumps they have performed extremely well, the kit did have a few downsides when compared to the Sniper 1 pump.
When comparing this kit to the Sniper 1 the benefits Mercenary were, which strip bolt, beautiful finish, back bottle air and the body is cut prior to anodizing for an Auto Trigger.
Disadvantages were, external air line (sniper 2 has vert air), pump rod vs back block, barrels may have been harder to acquire? Possibly heavier.
The kit was offered by Ted Yoshimura, captain of Hello Kitty. I don't now much about Yoshimura's history, or if he was the designer, machinist, handled sales, ect, but I do know Hello Kitty was based in Southern California and was a long running and one of the many competitive teams of the day.
Hello Kitty was sometimes associated with the Kamikaze Shooters and may have teamed up with the Shooters for some matches against opposing teams.
