This short video captures the 19th Annual White Rose Ball sponsored by Duquesne University's Sigma Nu fraternity honoring American Gold Star Mothers. Gold Star Mother's are mothers who have lost a son or daughter in active military service. Sigma Nu is the second largest donor to the National Gold Star Mothers through their work culminating in this annual White Rose Ball. All of Duquesne's sororities participate through fund raising and by selecting a representative as a candidate for the White Rose Queen. The White Rose Queen is selected based on their contribution in service to the cause of the Gold Star Mothers.
