In this first episode of Working with Wood, I’m moving in to my new woodworking workshop. This beginner woodworking journey isn’t about budget builds — it’s about investing in tools, materials, and learning through mistakes.
This channel documents my path into woodworking — starting in a large two-car garage I rented in mid-2023, and slowly turning it into a full workshop. Along the way, I’ll share shop projects, builds, and lessons learned (mistakes included).
This first video introduces the workshop space: its size, power setup, lighting, and the very first wood haul that got me started. I’ve already invested thousands of euros in tools and lumber, so this isn’t about how to do woodworking with no money — it’s about the real process of building a workshop and learning the craft seriously.
