Today's hairstyle tutorial is inspired by a photo of a fishtail braid / feathered French braid combo we first saw on an awesome Instagram account called "flettemamma" (  / flettemamma  )

We "regrammed" the original photo of this style last week, which can be seen here: http://instagram.com/p/rmsuLxhftM/?mo... and also shared it on our facebook page   / princesshairstyles   We received an overwhelming number of requests for a video tutorial, so we decided to try and recreate this fun style for you. A huge thanks to @flettemamma for inspiring this "diving mermaid braid" idea and video. The Princess and I both love the braid and she plans to wear it often. ;)

This is a braided hairstyle for teens, women and girls. Long hair and medium length hair. Similar to a Danearys targaeryn style on the "Game of Thrones."
