Secret Service, Partners Crack Down on DC-area Skimming Devices with Operation Potomac

Описание: The Secret Service and law enforcement partners conducted Operation Potomac January 29 and 30 to inspect point-of-sale terminals and ATMs for potential skimming devices. During the two-day operation, 6,561 terminals at 879 businesses were inspected, and 27 skimming devices were recovered, which prevented an estimated $7.2 million in fraud losses. Operations like this help protect the financial system of our local communities.
