3. Kashmiri chilli powder - 1 & 1/2 teaspoon
4. Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
5. Salt - as needed
For frying
1. Coconut oil - as needed

For roasting
1. Tamarind - 1 small piece
2. Water - 3 tbsp
3. Shallots - one handful
4. Dried red chilli - 7 to 9 pieces
5. Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
6. Garlic - finely chopped - 1/2 teaspoon
7. Ginger - 1/2 inch piece - finely sliced
8. Curry leaves - 1 string
9. Salt - as needed
10. Coconut oil - 1 & 1/2 tbsp
