How Bad Was The M6 Heavy?

Описание: When people think about US tanks, heavy tanks generally don't come to mind. The most noteworthy American heavy tanks were probably the M103 and T28, which is a shame, because they likely wouldn't have existed without the M6 / M6A1. The M6 was the US Army's first foray into heavy armored fighting vehicles since the Mark VIII Liberty, a World War 1 era vehicle. It may not have entered service itself, but the M6 helped pave the way for bigger and better designs. So why was it canceled in the first place?
