‘Just Stop Oil’ protesters interrupt play at Wimbledon by scattering confetti and jigsaw pieces. Two protesters have been arrested on suspicion of aggravated trespass and criminal damage and these individuals have now been removed from the grounds. The environmental group said in a statement that the demonstrators had thrown environment friendly orange confetti glitter and jigsaw pieces. The protesters who were arrested were a retired teacher and a retired musician.
