Disgruntled tourists and locals deplore the 10 mile "ring of steel" that has been erected around Cardiff city centre and Newport ahead of the Nato conference.
Security in Cardiff city centre has been heightened ahead of the Nato conference next week.
Police have erected a 10 mile long, nine feet high security fence that makes the centre of Cardiff resemble a high security prison.
The Nato conference will take place on September 4 and 5 at the Celtic manor resort in Newport and will welcome many world leaders including Barack Obama and David Cameron.
