RATTLESNAKE - we took some risks at Grasslands National Park

Описание: We have crossed the prairies of Canada and now we're approaching the stunning Rocky Mountains. But first we're spending a couple of days at Grasslands National Park. The wildlife here has absolutely blown us away. We saw animals that were new to us every day, some super cute like the ground squirrels and the prairie dogs. Some huge and magnificent like the bison and some that could really spoil your day, like the rattlesnake. The burrowing owls were a special treat as we had to spend a long time tracking them down, but the reward when we eventually saw them was incredible.

After Grasslands we headed towards the Rockies. You won't be disappointed in the views there.

We're Sarah and Ben, are a couple from the UK that have been travelling for many years. In 2020, when the world went crazy, we bought an empty Mercedes Sprinter van and started converting it into a fabulous home on wheels. To explore even more of this fabulous world, we have shipped our van over to Canada and we are embarking on an epic adventure that may eventually end in Ushuaia, the most southerly place it is possible to drive to. If we last that long.
