Steps:

1 - draw a horizontal line across the middle of your page.
2 - draw 2 crosses at either end of the line. These are your vanishing points.
3 - draw one edge of your house.
4- join the top and bottom of this line to both vanishing points
5 - add in the other edges to your house.
6 - starting in the middle of the rectangle at the end of the house, draw a line vertically. This will be the point of your roof. Join the lines up to form a triangle
7 - use your vanishing point on the right-hand side to extend the roof. Finish off the roof on the right side of the house.
8 - optional extras - add a little more detail (entrance, windows etc)
9 - outline with pen.
10 - add finishing touches - extra detail in pen to windows, roof and door.

There is your final, basic shell of a house in 2 point perspective. Now it is time to add some more detail.

To give the house a little more context, I added some trees. I drew a very basic tree shape in pencil and then used the vanishing point on the right to ensure the following trees were in perspective. I added some trees way down the road just to add further perspective.

I added some paving outside the house to ensure the house isn’t floating in mid-air and to add a little texture to the house, I sometimes use dots if I’m not going to draw all the brickwork.
