I've known about this little town, deep in the Cederberg Mountains of South African called "Wupperthal" for a while, but never had the opportunity to visit it.
The town was founded in 1829 by two German/Rhine Missionaries. It is named after the Wupper River which flows through North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. The town existed (in South Africa) over 100 years before the borders of Wuppertal in Germany were established.
Join us as we journey to the sleepy town, via gravel roads & epic mountain passes!
