Well, it may have taken a quarter of a century to punch a ticket back to the Oscars, but with her widely praised performance in Song Sung Blue, Kate Hudson is headed to the Dolby Theatre on March 15. Vying for Best Actress in a Leading Role, this is her first nomination since she was up for Best Supporting Actress 25 years ago for Cameron Crowe’s Almost Famous, in which she so memorably played Penny Lane.
