First OJ skit I did on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, thanks, in part, to my dentist. He asked me what was new. I mentioned I played Robert Shapiro in A Current Affair reenactment of the OJ Bronco chase. He suggested I send my resume/tape to the Tonight Show because they were doing OJ trial skits and didn’t have a Shapiro character. I did and two days later I got a call from the Tonight Show offering me the role. Moral of the story… always keep your dental appointments! 😁
