Here we have the 1.8m HE-VA Grass Tiller deep ripping in vineyards in Clare, South Australia.
This unit is fitted with:
Scalloped disc coulters in front of each tine to cut through grass/weeds and ensure there is no build up/dragging of material in front of the tine.
Hydraulic breakout tines which immediately swing back when an immovable object (large rock) is hit, before moving back into the standard ripping position.
Star Roller fitted at the rear which effectively flattens and breaks up any clumps of soil lifted by ripping, as well as further cutting through weeds or stubble.
The Grass Tiller comes in a range of sizes and has a number of options, meaning it can be tailored specifically for your needs.
