PIKE 64: Aquarium - Beyond The Windmill by Buckethead (fanmade music video)
The Unofficial Buckethead Drive-In Movie Theater - A tribute to the genre-melding multi-instrumentalist and expressive experimental artist. Creative-freedom-appreciation exploration of Bucketheadland through amateur editing efforts to represent personal experiences of music: “what I see when I hear music—thoughts loosened and set free by the spell of sound."
In Mary Shelly’s “Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus”, Victor Frankenstein (changed to Henry in this movie) takes great pains to create a being of physical perfection. When the process of animation alters his creation, he is dismayed and disgusted. Due to his pride and vanity, he views his efforts and his experiment as a catastrophic, unsalvageable failure. In chapter 10, the creature begs his creator for compassion and acceptance: “Oh, Frankenstein, be not equitable to every other, and trample upon me alone, to whom thy justice, and even thy clemency and affection, is most due. Remember that I am they creature; I ought to be thy Adam; but I am rather thy fallen angel, whom thou drivest from joy for no misdeed. Everywhere I see bliss, from which I alone am irrevocably excluded. […] How can I move thee? Will no entreaties cause thee to turn a favourable eye upon thy creature, who implores thy goodness and compassion? Believe me Frankenstein: I was benevolent; my soul glowed with love and humanity: but am I not alone, miserably alone? You, my creator, abhor me; what hope can I gather from your fellow creatures, who owe me nothing? They spurn and hate me. […] If the multitude of mankind knew of my existence, they would do as you do, and arm themselves for my destruction.”
This edit aims to more closely align the movie not only with the heightened tragedy of the novel, but with today’s moral and societal standards, which tend to judge Victor Frankenstein to be the true monster.

Copyright Disclaimer Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976: allowance is made for "fair use", a use permitted by copyright statute that might otherwise be infringing. Non-profit, educational or personal use tips the balance in favor of fair use. Exceptions to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act allow the circumvention of copy protection on Blu-Rays, DVDs, and material distributed online for fair use of video clips for certain noncommercial uses such as video remixes. In amicus briefs involving intellectual copyright, the Copyright Office has increasingly held that fan videos constitute fair use. The creation of fan videos requires intermediate digital copying and processing in order to produce the creative and transformative final product, therefore that intermediate copying performed to facilitate fair use, constitutes fair use. Transformative uses are those that add something new, with a further purpose or different character, and do not substitute for the original use of the work. [This fan-edit reframes the "monster" as a wholly innocent victim of human cruelty and violence.] Clips are used creatively on this channel and no profit is made. This video has no negative impact on the original works, rather, it strives to promote the originals. This channel is a personal project NOT created for profit. This channel is inspired by and intended as a tribute to Buckethead - as well as Brewer, P-sticks, Frankenseuss, and everyone who has contributed their talent, skill, artwork, imagination, and dedication to creating, maintaining, and expanding the park.
