Oh, you have to hear about my day...
It started with my favorite shoe falling apart on the way to work, which made me late for the very first time. I had to run through a crowded station to buy super glue and fix it on the train. It truly felt like one of those days where everything goes wrong.
But even a clumsy day can have a happy ending.
For me, that came in the form of a warm, friendly lunch, and a trip to a cheap and cheerful izakaya for dinner. It's funny how good food and good company can make all the troubles of the day just melt away.
This is a story about a series of unfortunate events, but also about resilience, finding joy in small things, and the healing power of a good meal.
