If you're new to CAD software, it's a good idea to familiarize yourself with the basics first. This will help prevent unnecessary frustration and ensure a smoother learning process before diving into more complex tasks.

I learnt using an Onshape free account which made it quite easy to transition to the SolidWorks Makers Licence as Onshape was in part founded by a team that included personnel from SolidWorks (Workflow and UI similar)
